Kali Trampling Shiva

Rs.5999.00

DESCRIPTION

In Hindu tradition, a popular depiction is of Goddess Kali standing on Shiva. According to popular belief, after conquering Mahishasura and other demons, Goddess Kali was still enraged by the Adharma on Earth. She kept destroying everything in her path. All living things anticipate eternal destruction. They approached Shiva to avoid the wrath of Goddess Kali. Shiva entered the battleground and laid firmly among the demons' corpses to stop Goddess Kali's attempt to destroy the universe. Goddess Kali was tearing apart and dismembering the corpses as she travelled across them when she found herself standing atop a handsome human body. She remained motionless for a brief period of time until she looked down at the body and recognised Shiva, her husband. Goddess Kali extended her tongue in embarrassment after realising she had touched her spouse with her feet, which put an end to the havoc. The Goddess was then calmed by Shiva, who also danced with her. Together, they restarted creation and liberated the entire universe from Adharma.
